Lovebirds as Pets:- Lovebirds are a favorite among pet birds, often called "pocket parrots," and are among the most colorful pet birds you'll find. All lovebirds belong to the genus Agapornis and the order Psittaciformes, making them small parrots. While there are several lovebird species in the world, not all of them are kept as pets.

Love Birds Breeding:- In most cases, the female lovebird will lay her first egg ten days after mating and then will brood, or sit on the eggs, after the second is laid. Look at the nest every morning to see if there are any eggs. The female will generally lay eggs at night. She may produce one egg every other day, up to 5 or 6 eggs.

Love Birds Food:- lovebirds feed on seeds, berries, fruits, grains, grasses, leaf buds, and agricultural crops of corn, maize and figs. A lovebird's diet will consist of 1 1/2 to 2 ounces (45-60 grams) of feed daily for a single bird.

Love Birds Sounds:- Just like humans, whistling,Chirping is usually a pretty good indicator that your lovebird is really enjoying the moment. They might whistle happily to you, others, or each other.

Love Birds Cage:- Wire cages are best because your Lovebird cannot chew through the bars, and the spacing should be at most ½ an inch apart.Lovebirds are very active birds, so a cage best suited to adequately house them must provide a lot of space. Remember, they are extremely active birds. A minimum of 32” x 20” x 20” (81 x 50 x 50 cm) per pair of birds is recommended with about four perches, feed and water dishes and an area for a bath.

Love Birds Colours:- Lovebirds' plumage is of a combination of colors on their body and face, ranging from green, yellow, peach, orange, violet, teal, or white. Their beaks even vary in color.
